HJWAVE (CEO Tae-hwan Yoo), a millimeter wave (mmWAVE, 30–300 GHz) band RF specialist, announced on the 21st that it has been selected for the future mobility sector of the 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project'. 

The 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project' is a project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to support and foster startup companies that will lead the future of the national economy based on 10 super-gap technologies such as system semiconductors, future mobility, and AI big data. Companies selected for the project will be able to receive up to 600 million won in commercialization funds and 500 million won in R&D funds over three years, for a total of 1.1 billion won, and will also receive various benefits such as policy funds and technology guarantees.

Tae-hwan Yoo, CEO of HJWAVE, said, "We were selected for the project in recognition of our technological prowess and innovation," and "Through this project, we will further advance our autonomous driving radar antenna technology and become a leading company in the future technology of the millimeter wave band, including autonomous driving."

Meanwhile, HJWave has previously received recognition for its outstanding technological prowess by winning awards such as the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award and the Minister of Science and ICT Award.
