HJWAVE (CEO Tae-hwan Yoo), a specialized RF small business, announced on the 4th that it “supplied one type of AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) communication antenna and three types of RSU (Road Side Unit) communication antennas to the smart factory of the world’s No. 1 white goods company.”

The RSU antenna products supplied this time are V2X antennas, LTE/5G antennas, and GPS L1&L2 antennas. These products support communication between vehicles and roadside units, autonomous logistics, and driving through the GNSS System for receiving location information, and support LTE/5G mobile communication network connections. The V2X/GPS L1&L2 Antenna supports 1.2GHz/1.5GHz/5.9GHz frequencies, has a gain of 9~10dBi and 25~30dBic, and the LTE/5G Antenna operates in three frequency bands of 824~960MHz, 1710~2690MHz, and 3300~3900MHz, and has an antenna gain of 2.5~5dBi.

In addition, we supplied a communication antenna for AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle, unmanned transport vehicle) that supports GNSS and LTE/5G frequency bands with a single integrated antenna.

These products are key antennas that support cutting-edge autonomous logistics, unmanned transport, and autonomous robot communications in smart factories, which are future factories where humans and robots work together.

Yoo Tae-hwan, CEO of HJ Wave, said, “We plan to launch a new, innovative product, the world’s first integrated antenna for vehicles, in the 4Q of 23.” “This is a hidden integrated antenna that integrates multiple communication frequencies into a single antenna product, and the antenna cannot be found outside the vehicle. We plan to apply this product not only to autonomous logistics, but also to autonomous robots, drones, and autonomous delivery systems,” he said. “In the future, we plan to compete with global companies based on the technology that can simultaneously supply microwave (30 GHz or less) communication antennas such as 5G that support autonomous driving and logistics, and millimeter wave (77, 79 GHz) band antennas that go into radar sensors.”
